-- Tom Garland received a telegram on Monday morning, saying that his uncle Perry Garland had died at 1:45 at the home of M/M Frank Belton, in Oglalia, Nebraska. No particulars were given but he was known to have been in bad health for some time. He has been living in California but spent last winter in Oglalia. With the exception of Mrs. Belton, he is the last of a large family of brothers and sisters who formerly lived in this vicinity. Mr. Garland was a stock dealer and had a wide acquaintance. his wife, Anna Benham Garland, died in Indianapolis a few years ago. - kbz
